Balls mill for the production of 80/150 kg of pure chocolate, surrogates, creams and various fillings with a minimum percentage of fat stuff of 30-32%.

Product thinness range is from 18 to 26 micron depending on products characteristics and refining time.

Refiner productivity depends on the raw materials to be mixed and on the percentage of sugar used in the recipe.

Replacing crystalline sugar with powdered sugar, refining time will be considerably reduced, increasing at same time related production.

Refiner is composed by:

  • inside tank and bottom of special wear-resistant material
  • external tank in AISI 304 stainless steel
  • arm stirrer of anti-abrasion stainless steel
  • cooling coil let into interspace
  • main frame in stainless steel AISI 304
  • ball valves including pneumatic actuator for product management (loading/ recycle/ unloading)
  • basket filter of stainless steel AISI 304 with deferrization device
  • lobe pump for loading, recycle and unloading of product
  • reservoir for heating tank complete with thermo-regulator - resistance from 1.5 kW, circulator and automatic water level
  • valve for the product’s manual unloading
  • servoventilated gearmotor kW 22
  • photoelectric cell for checking product level inside tank

Raw material charging is manual direct into refining tank or automatically through a mixer.

Refining SFERA balls mills and DECA automatic lines have been designed for the production of pure chocolate or substitutes, spreadable creams, hazelnut pistachio and almond paste, with minimum percentage of fat material of 28-30%, and 32-34% for pure chocolate. Productions can vary in accordance with raw materials and percentage used.
Automatic lines could be composed by a mixer ANDE or a conching machine CR according to the production to be performed: if you want to produce pure chocolate from cocoa liquor, a conching machine CR is needed with mixing function as well after conching. If you want to produce substitutes, spreadable creams, etc., the line will be composed with a mixer ANDE for melting fats and for mixing solid ingredients to be refined. These automatic compact lines, as well as the single balls mills, they allow a remarkably flexibility in production, easily cleanable, low energy consumption and with closed water circuit for heating and cooling.
